May 13. 2008 again
My favorite kind of books has always been mysteries. When I was in junior high, (yes, I’m old enough to have gone to a junior high and not a middle school), my teacher forbade me to read any more mysteries and gave me a biography of Babe Ruth to read. Needless to say, she was not my favorite teacher. I still have my copies of 2 Judy Bolton Mystery books; The Vanishing Shadow and The Living Portrait. The author is Margaret Sutton. Surprisingly enough, I’ve never read a Nancy Drew. Maybe it’s time I did……after I re-read my Judy Boltons!

My favorite mystery author as a kid was Trixie Belden - much better than Nancy Drew! I just checked the catalog and SWC actually has some! I guess I'll have to re-read a few. AA
