Podcasts

I hadn't tried podcasts before, so I just dabbled a little bit this time. I looked at the NPR book review podcast, and added it to my Bloglines. I has some great author interviews. The other one I looked at was from the Wadsworth Public Library in Ohio. It is an online show called, "In Good Company," and a librarian does booktalks on a monthly basis. Sometimes she has guests from the outside, and sometimes a she brings along a fellow librarian. The best part of this was that they also have a Vodcast of the same program. The video version was much better, as she is showing pages from the book, and in one instance, making a craft. This would be a great idea for showing the library programs that patrons missed.
